Giving up is NOT an option!

My name is Danielle Anatra. I am a medium and a spiritual development teacher. I believe that the people, places, and things placed in our path are there to help guide us to our version of greatness. In different ways, I believe we are all guided to our purpose. Resistance and pride could get in the way at times, but when you finally “give in” and TRUST the process, you will see that certain things will go much smoother and eventually will lead us to growth. We don’t always see the light at the end of the tunnel immediately, but it exists. There’s a reason for everything, good or bad, that happens in our lives. Everyone has a story. The clusters of experiences we have in our lifetime make up who we are and help to make the choices we feel are best for us. Things in life that are perceived as “bad” are normally our greatest lessons in self growth. My whole life I would silence my real opinions because they weren’t always considered society’s “norm”. It seemed easier to try to fit in than it did to stand out. This behavior ended the second I had an instance in my life where I realized how short our time here could be. One experience changed everything for me. One year into my marriage my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 31. This changed our world very quickly. Although the outcome for my family went as well as it possibly could have, it transformed our lives. This situation could of been looked at as an awful experience, but it ended up being one of the greatest blessings our family could of ever imagined. We started truly LIVING our lives. Certain things also became very clear. We woke up. The second we opened our eyes it was like we were standing outside of this bubble we call “society”. We walked out of the game and it’s been a wild journey. You see lots more with your eyes open. I traded in my anxiety for adventure. I quit my 9–5 job, left my pension, my 401K, everything I thought I needed to have it all….Not one day goes by where I regret anything! I took a leap of faith and opened my own business. I would lie if I said it were easy. This shit was, and continues to be tough. But each time I feel myself having a human moment and feeling overwhelmed, I will reflect back to everything that happened, all the challenges that we faced that got me to this point in my life. When I reflect I feel proud of my accomplishments. It reminds me of the day I stopped following and started leading. You can’t let the “bad” experiences cause you to give up faith in anything. Don’t let your mind win. You take your power back when you lead with your heart. That’s why my passion is to help others create the life for themselves that they’ve always wanted. Work through your struggles and allow your challenges to make you stronger, let them re-direct you to better things. You will not be disappointed. Giving up in not an option!
